Its time to kick into spooky season with all the best Halloween Movies to Binge right now on any of your streaming services. From Halloween Movie classic’s like Halloweentown to new era Netflix series like The Haunting of Hill House, you’re sure to find a Halloween move for anyone in this list.
Naturally, like most millennials my age, I don’t have cable only streaming subscriptions. As a result, I have put together 31 of my favorite Halloween movies you can stream right now to get you in the Halloween spirit this October across any streaming platform!
In this list, there is no particular order so either watch one every day of October or just pick a few and have a Halloween themed movie night! I am 100% a scaredy cat and the jumpiest person you will meet, so if horrifying nightmares is what you are looking for then this is NOT your list. But none the less a list of great Halloween Movies to stream right now on places like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Peacock and HBO Max!
31 Halloween Movies to Binge :
1. Halloweentown
First off, we must start this journey with Halloweentown. If you’re not familiar with this movie then I may be showing my age a bit, but it is one of the Disney Original Movie CLASSICS! A 10/10 Must watch about a young girl who discovers her families magical history and origin of a little town called Halloweentown. But when she discovers the town that her family is from a curse is spelled upon it and she must race the clock to save it all the while figuring out her power. (bonus: Follow this with Halloweentown II Kalabar;s Revenge, Halloweentown High, and Return to halloween town!)
2. Twitches
Coming at you with another Disney Original movie, honestly if you don’t pay for the subscription you probably will after this list especially when you realize what is listed on Disney plus when you hit movie number 4. Twitches is one of the best Disney Original halloween movies in my personal opinion, about twin sisters separated at birth and find each other on their 21st birthday as the come together to find out where they came from.
3. Twitches Two
If you enjoyed the first Twitches, get ready because you’re favorite duo is back! After discovering their magic powers and finding one of their parents, the sisters settle down to lead normal lives. Things start to get stirred up when the come across information that leads them to think their other parent is still alive and living in New York.
4. Hocus Pocus
Ah yes! Your favorite Anderson sisters can be found on Disney Plus.. did I get you to subscribe yet if you haven’t already? I don’t think I need to give a description about this classic.
5. The Adams Family
When their long lost Uncle Fester arrives to join the Adams Family, the family start questioning if he is truly their Uncle.
6. Hotel Transylvania
When monsters living in everyday life want to get away from it all, they visit Hotel Transylvania where they can always be themselves. But can things really be that relaxing when so many different monsters come together under one roof? This is a great family-comedy that everyone will enjoy!
7. Sleepy Hollow
If you are a Johnny Depp fan than this is one of the three JD movies on my list you are going to love! Based on “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” you are going to love this fairytale that brings romance, horror and fantasy all to life!
8. Fractured
This Netflix original debuted in 2019, I am adding it as a thriller to this list. I am normally pretty good at predicting movies (my ex found it the most annoying thing in the world) but this movie had me going back and fourth and had quite the twist at the end.
9. Sweeny Todd
This movie is something else. I would classify it as more of a thriller (because it did not scare me or cause any nightmares and I promise I am easily the most scared person you will meet). Two of my favorite actors (Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter) play incredible complex characters in this musically twisted tale of a barber on Fleet Street.
10. Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! An all time halloween classic every generation must watch staring Alec Baldwin, Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, and Geena Davis
Peacock is a free streaming service and the commerces gals are less annoying than Hulus. 10/10 recommend making a Peacock account and you can also stream season 1 and 2 of Yellowstone!
11. The Craft
This movie is honestly the 90’s Halloween version of Mean Girls.
12. The Little Vampire
Originally I wanted this list to be filled with a variety of “free” options if you were subscribed to the streaming chanel, however when looking up all the halloween movies I completely was brought down memory lane when this movie crossed my path. My sisters and I would watch this movie CONSTANTLY with our dad when it was first released to HBO. This may be a classified kids movie but I just remember everyone in the family loving it so much and I can’t wait to rewatch it this Halloween season!
12. Scooby Doo The Movie
Scooby-Dooby-Doo! Another family favorite, which predominately what this list is, but our favorite childhood cartoon was brought to life in this PG Mystery featuring our favorite furry hero Scooby Doo! As a dog mom of three, I had to add this classic to the list.
13. Babysitters Guide to Monster Hunting
A Netflix Original staring Tamara Smart as the babysitter her embarks on rescue mission to save a child who has been abducted by monsters. Also for all the Harry Potter Fans, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) also plays a roll in this movie.
14. Harry Potter Saga
What more to get you into the Halloween spirit than casting spells, butter beer and Quidditch? All 7 movies are available to stream on Hulu and can also be rented on Amazon Prime! So pick a saturday and grab your butter beer because its a marathon baby!
15. The Nightmare Before Christmas
This Tim Burton classic really makes you pump the breaks when bringing out the Christmas Decorations out before Thanksgiving. Stream now to find out what happens when Christmas goes to Halloween Town.
16. Star Wars Saga
Stream all the Star Wars movies right now on Disney plus! This is my favorite out of all the sagas out there! My favorite character is 100% Yoda, comment down below your favorite saga and your favorite character from the movies!
17. Dark Shadows
The third Tim Burton and third Johnny Depp movie on my list is Dark Shadows, which also so happens to have Helena Bonham Carter in it as well. Watch along as Vampire, Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp), is released from imprisonment to find his dysfunctional family in need of his protection.
18. Ghostbusters (2016)
Of course the original is a classic but you can’t beat the cast of the 2016 Ghostbusters! Not to mention Chris Hemsworth… have I said enough?
20. Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory
I figured at this point you were sick of Johnny Depp movies so I am brining this movie back to original form 1971 style. A classic movie everyone should see and I recommend watching the 1971 version before the JD version, no offense Johny.
21. The Haunting of Hill House
This next one is a bit different, it isn’t a movie nor would I say meant for youngsters, but needed to be mentioned for folks looking to go on the spookier side. This Netflix original series follows a family that moves into a haunted mansion that haunts them well after they are no longer children and have moved away. 10/10 must watch! After you’ve watched this be on the look out on October 9th for the sequel, Haunting of Bay Manor.
22. Interview With a Vampire
Brad Pitt makes a strikingly handsome vampire as he tells all in his interview of a vampire from the romances, betrayal, loneliness and chaos.
23. Twilight Saga
With her newest book releasing and Halloween among us what better fitting saga than Twilight. The real question is… team Jacob or Edward?
24. The House at The End Of The Street
A teenage girl moves into a house with her mom and meets a boy… let’s just say a double murder is involved.
25. Delirium
This dark and twisted psychological film really makes you wonder what is real and what is fake…. but wait until you find what’s hidden beneath the walls of this house.
26. The Village
A town isolated and cut-off from the outside world separated by woods where they believe to house dangerous creatures in which they have a truce with, one young man will risk it all for the one he loves to leave the village and enter the woods to find a cure for his sick loved one.
27. Matilda

Angelina Jolie plays Maleficent in the tale told from the villains point of view from Sleeping Beauty. Was Maleficent always so evil?
29. Bridge to Terabithia
Josh Hutchinson and Ana Sophia Robb play two pre-teens who befriend each other and create an imaginary world to cope with their everyday lives.
30. The Devil All The Time
Tom Holland stars in this Netflix original as a young boy living in a “God sent” town secretly filled with corruption as he tries to balance everything out by seeking justice.
31. Moms Got a Date With a Vampire
I bet you forgot about this one… The Hansen kids just want their mom to be happy so they set her up on a date with a mysterious man… turns out he’s a vampire and now they have to save her! Super cute Disney original classic.
